The Adelaide Thunderbirds are available for alimited number of appearances during the year and Netball SA tries to accommodate all requests where possible.
Work and stude committments, team committments, Australian Squad committments and time of year impact on appearance availability and as a result not all requests can be met.

Please consider the following when making a request:
Level of direct interaction with Netball SA's target market - netballers and future players
Maximisation of player time - large number of children influenced by visit
Clearly defined role for the player in the event (eg. hand out awards)
No athletic appearances with risk of injury (eg. basketball games)
There is a ratio requirment that must be adhered to for Adelaide Thunderbirds clinic appearances. For the clinics run at schools, theremust be no more than 30 participants per player or coach, plus a school supervisor. For clinics run at a netball club, there must be no more than 15 participants per player or coach, plus a netball club supervisor.
Appearance fees are set by Netball SA, Netball Australia and the Australian Netball Players' Association.
Fees cover expenses incurred by the players, plus additional expenses including accommodation, travel and meals where necessary.
Within 48 hours of receiving a Promotional Appearance Request Form, Netball SA will notify the organisationcontact person of the payment required to gain approval before proceesding to contact players.
