1. Do you have a nickname?
Telf, Frew, Wendal
2. What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Professional sportswoman or a policewoman.
3. You've been with the Steel since the ANZ Championship started. At time of writing, you're the only foundation team member (coach or athlete) who will be back with the side in are you feeling about the new-look franchise?
I'm always very proud to play for my home province. It's something I always wanted to do when I was growing up and every year I am very grateful for the opportunity I get to do this. Steel 2012 is a new look with lots of changes. I'm excited about the competition and can't wait to hit the court!
4. It was reported that you had offers from other franchises. What were the reasons behind your decision to stay with the Steel for a fifth season?
I'm a born and bred Southlander and have always loved the place. I'm very loyal to the franchise and enjoy putting on the Steel dress. My husband Trent and I are very settled in Invercargill.
5. How do you feel about working with two head coaches in 2012?
Nat has coached me before but I haven't played under Janine. I'm sure they will bring new aspects to my game which will benefit me as a player.
6. In the ANZ Championship, which team do you love to play against the most, and why?
That's a hard question all the teams out there are tough opponents. I would probably have to pick the Firebirds at the moment as they are the champs and have a very formidable line up.
7. What do you do when you're not training or playing netball i.e. hobbies or interests?
My husband and I are building a house at the moment so every spare minute I'm swinging a hammer to help with that! It has been enjoyable. My family are very important to me so I enjoy hanging out with them and looking after my nephews and niece and also chilling with my friends. I love heading away on holiday and cruising on our jetski.
8. Apart from your athletic skills, do you have any other secret talents?
I have been known to do the moon walk like Michael Jackson (its my party trick!)
9. What is your favourite home-cooked meal?
Mum's roast.
10. Do you have a favourite restaurant?
Lonestar for the Dixie Chicken!
11. What are your favourite movie and TV show?
Fried Green Tomatoes is a great film and my favourite TV shows are Home and Away and Shortland Street. 
12. What are you currently listening to on your iPod?
Old skol.
13. What was the last book you read?
Lance Armstrong.
14. What can't you live without?
My hubby and my iPhone.
15. What never fails to make you smile?
My nephews Blake, Charlie, Flynn and Noah and my niece Mikayla.
16. What's the scariest thing you've ever done?
The rides at Disneyland and the fun park rides on the Gold Coast.
17. What's your ideal holiday destination?
I loved travelling in the US last year, especially Las Vegas.
18. Do you have a favourite quote / motto / other piece of advice you live by?
Live each day like it's your last.
19. If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose? Give us three names...
Rod Stewart, David Beckham and Sonny Bill Williams.
20. If you could have any other job for a day, what would it be?
Prime Minister John Keys' job!
