3. You've been with the Steel since the ANZ Championship started. At time of writing, you're the only foundation team member (coach or athlete) who will be back with the side in 2012...how are you feeling about the new-look franchise?
I'm always very proud to play for my home province. It's something I always wanted to do when I was growing up and every year I am very grateful for the opportunity I get to do this. Steel 2012 is a new look with lots of changes. I'm excited about the competition and can't wait to hit the court!

4. It was reported that you had offers from other franchises. What were the reasons behind your decision to stay with the Steel for a fifth season?
I'm a born and bred Southlander and have always loved the place. I'm very loyal to the franchise and enjoy putting on the Steel dress. My husband Trent and I are very settled in Invercargill.

My husband and I are building a house at the moment so every spare minute I'm swinging a hammer to help with that! It has been enjoyable.
